Utah, BYU Makes Final Cut For Top In-State Guard Collin Chandler

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Farmington High School and top in-state basketball player Collin Chandler announced his top 6 in his recruitment which includes Utah and BYU.
Collin Chandler announced his top 6 on Tuesday morning via Twitter, putting Utah, BYU, Stanford, Arizona, Gonzaga and Oregon in his list of finalists.
That’s big news for the in-state schools as they try to sign one of the best players to come out of the Beehive state.

Chandler has been playing AAU with Utah Prospects and has seen his stock rise rapidly over the last couple of months as he has been playing in premier tournaments around the country.

According to 247Sports, Chandler is the No. 1 recruit in the state, No. 13 shooting guard and the 71st ranked prospect in the nation. He has received offers from Utah State, Creighton, Dixie State and USC on top of the top six schools that are now finalists.
Chandler has visited Utah, BYU and Stanford. Whoever lands Chandler is going to get an explosive guard that can score at all three levels on the court.
