Bobby Wood Gives RSL Lead Over Austin With Header, Celebrates With Family

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake forward Bobby Wood scored his second goal of the season in the first half against Austin FC on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium.
In the 32nd minute, Jonathan Menendez had the ball on the right side of the field, he fired the ball into the box where Bobby Wood got his head onto it and the ball traveled to the far post past the Austin FC keeper.
That gave RSL a 1-0 lead in the first half.

After scoring the goal, Wood went towards the crowd and gave his daughter a kiss. Wood’s grandmother, mother, wife and daughter were in attendance at Rio Tinto Stadium.
