Zach Wilson Sees Limited Playing Time In Preseason Debut With New York Jets

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU quarterback Zach Wilson played limited time during his NFL preseason debut with the New York Jets.
The Jets were hosted by the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 14.
Wilson played two series and helped the Jets get a field goal on the first drive. He finished 6-of-9 passing for 63 yards.

The Jets selected Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The former BYU star was recently listed a the first-string quarterback on New York’s first unofficial training camp depth chart.
New York’s next preseason game is against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, August 21 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on the NFL Network.
Wilson and the Jets open the regular season against the Carolina Panthers on September 12 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on CBS.
