SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It hasn’t mattered whether he is playing in Salt Lake City or Las Vegas, Utah Jazz center Udoka Azubuike has dunked the ball nearly every time he has touched it around the rim.
On Friday, it was summer league breakout start Omer Yurtseven who found himself on the wrong end of Azubuike’s dominance, catching a poster dunk at the rim when challenging the Jazz second-year big man.
With just under seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, Azubuike caught the ball off a pass from second-year wing Elijah Hughes and emphatically finished of the Miami Heat center.

Yurtseven was the star for the Heat in the summer league in Sacramento scoring 27 points and grabbing 19 rebounds in the team’s G League debut against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The center has followed it up by scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in his lone performance at the summer league in Vegas before facing the Jazz.
However, the talented center has struggled with Azubuike in his meeting with the Jazz. Through three and a half quarters, Yurtseven had a solid 14 points and eight rebounds but shot just 5-11 from the floor.

Azubuike meanwhile had 18 points and eight rebounds on a perfect 8-8 shooting from the floor.
Yurtseven is hardly the first player to get dunked on by Azubuike this summer. The Jazz big man shot 87 percent in Salt Lake City by mostly dunking the ball. He was shooting 80 percent entering the matchup with the Heat for the same reason.
The Jazz will play two more games at the Vegas Summer League.
