SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith announced the vaccination rate of his program when he talked to KSL Sports.
Craig Smith joined the Crimson Corner podcast via live stream on Wednesday and talked about the COVID-19 vaccination rate of his program when asked about how the summer workouts have been going.
“It’s been awesome,” Smith told KSL Sports. “You get hired on March 28 and you go through all this stuff and you don’t know exactly if you’re going to be able to be back on the road recruiting. You don’t know exactly what the rules are going to be, specifically our players but all over the country and coaches have to deal with with COVID testing and what are the protocols going to be. Everybody in our program is fully vaccinated from players to coaches to support personnel. So, there’s a lot of things that we put ourselves in a position, we don’t have to go crazy about what the protocols are because we are fully vaccinated.”
Great stuff from Craig Smith. He told me that his entire program from the players, coaches and support staff are fully vaccinated.#GoUtes @kslsports https://t.co/itN70tK6D0
