No. 25 Sky View Upsets No. 22 Herriman In Home Opener

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 25th ranked Sky View Bobcats took down No. 22 Herriman 21-10 in the season opener.
It took Herriman until the third quarter to get on the scoreboard but it was already too late. Garrett Zollinger accounted for all three touchdowns, two passing and one rushing.
Here are all of the results in the 4A classification from the first week of the high school football season.

Bear River 5 @ Morgan (3A) 39
Morgan handled business in their season opener on Friday. Nick Despain had two passing and one rushing touchdown in the win for the Trojans.
Crimson Cliffs 13 @ Green Canyon 17
After trailing 13-7 at halftime, Green Canyon had a bounce back performance in the second half by outscoring Crimson Cliffs 10-0 to pick up the win. Caden Stuart ran a kick return 97-yards for a touchdown. Jack Stevens threw a touchdown to Kyle Baker.
Cyprus (6A) 12 @ Snow Canyon 27
The Snow Canyon Warriors opened the 2021 campaign with a 27-12 victory over the visiting Cyprus Pirates. Snow Canyon quarterback Hunter Johnson threw for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns in the win. In addition to throwing the ball, Johnson also ran in another touchdown in the 15-point contest. With the win, the Warriors moved to 1-0 on the season and the Pirates moved to an 0-1 record.
San Juan (2A) 20 @ Desert Hills 45
Desert Hills jumped out to a 32-14 lead in the first half and that’s all they needed to get the win. Noah Fuailetolo accounted for four touchdowns, two passing and two rushing.
Richfield (3A) 26 @ Hurricane 28
Hurricane had a 21-13 halftime lead before both teams scored one touchdown in the third quarter. Richfield scored a touchdown late in the fourth but couldn’t get the two-point conversion.
