Report: Forward Jarrell Brantley Re-Signs With Utah Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Restricted free agent forward Jarrell Brantley re-signed with the Utah Jazz, according to Spotrac’s Keith Smith.
The basketball insider reported the transaction on Saturday, August 7.
“The Utah Jazz have re-signed Jarrell Brantley, sources tell @spotrac,” Smith tweeted.

Brantley was recently extended a qualifying offer by the Jazz.
The move made Brantley a restricted free agent this offseason.
The Charleston product has played the past two seasons for Utah and the G-League’s Salt Lake City Stars on a two-way contract.
The Jazz first selected Brantley during the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft.
During his two seasons in the league, Brantley has averaged 2.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 6.3 minutes per game. Brantley has appeared in 37 contests with the Jazz.

Last season, Brantley played in 28 games and averaged 2.3 point son 48.1 percent shooting in 4.9 minutes per contest.
Brantley is currently playing on Utah’s Summer League team.
