SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau is back in action for the first time since his T28 finish at the 3M Open a few weeks ago and will look to contend at a tournament that has not proven easy for Finau over the years.
TPC Southwind
Last year, Finau finished T65 and in 2018 he missed the cut. TPC Southwind, the venue of the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational is a private golf club in Shelby County, Tennessee, and has ranked as one of the toughest tests on the PGA Tour for over a decade as it is home to 10 water hazards and 94 bunkers across the 7,244-yard track.

Finau’s absence from the tour as of late came due to the birth of his fifth child. Finau’s wife, Alayna, gave birth to their second daughter Sienna who was born on July 28.
Furthermore, Finau has also been busy this week hosting his annual Tony Finau Foundation Charity golf tournament at Oakridge Country Club that saw the likes of Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith attend.
This week Finau will partner alongside Sam Burns and Joaquin Niemann throughout the first two rounds. Their first-round will begin on the 10th tee at 10:05 a.m. while their second-round will start off the first tee at 8:59 a.m.
