SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell didn’t go easy on one the kids attending his basketball camp and swatted a shot attempt away with a massive block.
The NBA All-Star is currently holding his annual “Donovan Mitchell Basketball Camp” in Greenwich, Connecticut from July 31-August 1.
Mitchell’s camp is open to youth between Grade 1-12.
Although not known for his blocking ability in the NBA, Mitchell absolutely obliterated one camper’s attempt to score on the Jazzman during the first day of camp.

During Mitchell’s four-year NBA careers, he’s averaged 0.3 blocks per game.
The guard is coming off a career-best season in which he averaged 26.4 points per contest and helped the Jazz finish the regular season with the league’s best record.
Mitchell and the Jazz begin the 2021-22 season in October.
