Utah State Opening Hoops Season Against Penn At Myrtle Beach Invitational

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah State Aggie men’s basketball team will open the season against Penn at the Myrtle Beach Invitational.
The game is slated for November 18, 2021 at 2:oo p.m. ET in South Carolina.
This will be the first time the teams will meet, Penn didn’t play last year because the Ivy League canceled all sports due the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sources: Oklahoma, Davidson, Utah State, New Mexico State, Indiana State, East Carolina, Old Dominion, and Penn will headline the 2021 Myrtle Beach Invitational.

A victory in this first game will put the Aggies in the tournament semifinal on Friday, Nov. 19, at noon (ET), while a loss will put Utah State is the first of two consolation games at 2 or 2:30 p.m. (ET) that same day.
The Aggies are with a brand new head coach this year. Ryan Odom replaced Craig Smith who is now coaching at the University of Utah.
