SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake forward Rubio Rubin scored another goal in the 2021 season and gave RSL a 3-0 lead late in the match against the Colorado Rapids.
In the 76th minute, Damir Kreilach played the ball to Rubio Rubin, who just needed to put the ball in the back of the net. That gave the home side a big lead.
It’s the fifth goal this season for Rubin.

Rubin signed a long-term extension with RSL on July 14, keeping him with the club for up to four years beyond the 2021 campaign.
“A few weeks ago we went to him and said that we wanted to extend your deal and improve the terms of it in an effort to really make this home for Rubio,” RSL GM Elliott Fall said. “The deal keeps him here up to four years beyond this year, it is a long-term deal and we are really happy to keep him in an RSL kit for some time.”
