Bobby Wood Scores First Career MLS Goal For RSL Against Colorado

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake forward Bobby Wood scored his first career MLS goal in the first half to give RSL a 2-0 lead over Colorado.
In the 31st minute, Bobby Wood had the ball on a breakaway play when he quickly shifted away from the defender and blasted the ball with his left foot, landing in the back of the net.
It’s his first career goal in Major League Soccer in what sure is to be many more in a RSL uniform.

Wood signed with RSL on April 2, 2021 and joined the team in June after his wife gave birth to their son. Entering Saturday’s match against Colorado, Wood had played in six games with one start.
