Utah Football Receives 2022 Commitment From Richmond, Texas Safety

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Utes football program received a commitment from Richmond, Texas and George Ranch High School safety Jeffrey Ugo.
Ugo announced his decision via social media on July 15.

Ugo is currently rated as a three-star in 247Sports‘ composite rating.
The recruiting website lists the class of 2022 prospect as the No. 76 safety and No. 1,201 overall player in the nation. 247Sports currently has Ugo as the 176th best player from the Lone Star State.
In addition to his offer from the University of Utah, Ugo has received offers from Houston Baptist, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Navy, San Diego State, Texas Southern, and Utah State.
According to 247Sports, Ugo is 6-1 and 180 lbs.

The George Ranch standout also competes in track and field. He ran the 100 meters in 11.12 seconds in April. In February, Ugo posted a long jump of 20-7.
