Utah High School Basketball Player Receives Advice From LeBron James

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A Utah high school basketball player received advice from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James during an AAU event.
American Fork star Jaxon Kohler was spotted getting advice from LeBron James during an AAU event that was taking place in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio.
It was The Battle US event that had players from all over the country participate. When the tournament ended, Kohler was named a 1st team standout. LeBron’s son, Bronny was a honorable mention.

Kohler is one of the best prospects in the state of Utah as a four-star recruit as a 6’9 forward. The 247Sports composite has him ranked as the No. 1 player in the state, while 247Sports listed him at No. 2. He and Collin Chandler from Farmington High School are the top players in the state in the 2022 class.
To this point, Kohler has received offers from BYU, Grand Canyon, Southern Utah, Texas Tech, UC Santa Barbara, Utah and Utah State. He recently received offers from Kansas, California and Oklahoma.
ESPN released their top 100 prospects in the 2022 class and ranked Kohler at No. 39.
