RSL’s Justen Glad Boots In First Goal Of Season On Corner Kick Against Dynamo

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad converted a corner kick into his first goal of the season early in the match against the Houston Dynamo.
RSL hosted Houston at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, June 26.
In the 11th minute of play, Real Salt Lake was give its third corner kick of the match.
Midfielder Albert Rusnák kicked the corner into the box and directly at Glad, who booted the ball into the goal with his right foot.

The goal was Glad’s first of the season.
June 26 is the birthday of Glad’s mother, according to RSL commentator Brian Dunseth.
Glad entered the match with three shots, including three shots on goal through eight matches this season.
