Lilly King Channels Potter Villain To Psych Out Opponents

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – For Lilly King, it’s all about channeling her inner evil self at swimming competitions.
King, who won Olympic gold at the 2016 games in the 100m breaststroke, loves Harry Potter, especially the villain Bellatrix Lestrange.
“I love her because she’s so evil and she’s so committed to being evil,” King said.
King takes a cue from Lestrange during swim meets by trying to psych out her opponents with staring, asking them questions King considers, “weird,” and slapping her leg to break their concentration.
