Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Crosses Up Clippers’ Beverly Before Burying Three-Pointer

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell crossed over Clippers guard Patrick Beverly and proceeded to knock down a three-pointer during Game 6.
The Clippers hosted the Jazz at Staples Center for Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday, June 18.
With 53.8 left in the second quarter, Mitchell rejected a screen by Rudy Gobert and crossed up Beverly.
After the move, Mitchell rose up and buried a three-pointer.

The guard’s triple stretched Utah’s lead to 69-48.
At halftime, the Jazz held a 72-50 advantage over the home team.
During the first two quarters of game time, Mitchell had a game-high 22 points on 8-14 shooting, including 5-7 from downtown.

He added seven rebounds and four assists during his first 19 minutes on the court.
As a team, the Jazz shot 58.7 percent from the field, including 12-19 for 63.2 percent from distance.

Los Angeles was limited to 41.9 percent shooting and 6-20 for 30.0 percent from beyond the arc.
The Clippers’ Paul George and Terrance Mann each scored 14 points.
