SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Denmark played Belgium in Copenhagen, Belgium where tributes were paid to Denmark star Christain Eriksen who is recovering in hospital after suffering cardiac arrest in a game against Finland days earlier.

In the 10th minute, the ball was kicked out of play to allow the players and the crowd to applaud for a minute as another show of support to the recovering Denmark international.
“That will be the queue for an evasion that reflects the fragility of the human condition and our ability to come together,” commentator Jon Champion said during the broadcast.
The game stops in the 10th minute for a round of applause for Christian Eriksen.
