SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – For the first time in 15 months, Utah football was able to host official and unofficial visits with high school recruits on campus.

On top of that, Utah football held a camp for those prospects, including many players from the state. The last time college programs were able to meet with recruits in person was March of 2020.

Those recruits posted their photos from their visit on social media, which was a breath of fresh air for many.

Recruits Visit Utah Football

2022 three-star quarterback Nate Johnson had a visit with Utah. He is a three-star prospect that is starting to narrow his decision to Utah and Michigan. The Clovis, California native participated in the Elite 11 camp. Johnson also has visited Oregon State and Michigan.

2022 safety Collin Wright paid a visit to the Utes facility this month. Wright posed for a photo with Utah defensive coordinator and safeties coach Morgan Scalley while in Utes gear. The Manvel, Texas native also spent time at Colorado and Duke.

Jim Harding continues to put in work to bolster the offensive line. He hosted Napavine, Washington three-star offensive tackle Keith Olson. Olson has visited USC and Oregon State as well.

2022 three-star quarterback Brandon Rose visited Utah on June 11 before spending time at Northwestern. The Murrieta Valley, California native is a pro-style QB that threw for over 3,000 yards, 30 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

Another player that Utah fans will love if he decides to join the program is three-star wide receiver Zion Steptoe from Frisco, Texas. He danced his way into his photo shoot in the all-white Utah football uniform combo and the all-red. Steptoe also visited Purdue and Vanderbilt, while attending Oklahoma State’s camp.

Another potential member to Safety Pride came to visit Utah in three-star prospect Ahmaad Moses from Arlington, Texas. Moses also paid a visit to Memphis and Tulane before coming to Salt Lake City.

Utah Football Camp Attendees

2023 Hawai’i QB Kekahi Graham visited the facility and attended the camp.

2023 Kahuku ATH Shaun Niu Jr. had a great time at Utah’s camp.

Springville HS DE Porter Small attended the camp. He played tight end at the camp for Utes.

2022 Cottonwood LB Curtis Straup was at Utah’s camp last week.

A name to keep an eye on over the next couple of years is 2024 Spanish Fork OLB/TE Adney Reid who was offered his first Division I scholarship by Utah while attending their camp.

2023 Alta WR/CB Isaac Jarmillo attended Utah’s camp along with teammate/relative Anson Jarmillo.
