Jazz Legend Karl Malone Wears Clarkson Jersey, Attends Game 1 Against Clippers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz legend Karl Malone wore a Jordan Clarkson jersey and attend Utah’s first playoff game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Jazz hosted the Clippers at Vivint Arena for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday, June 8.
Before the contest, Malone entered the arena supported the Jazz and the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year by sporting a No. 00 Jordan Clarkson blue Icon Edition Jazz jersey.
Despite living in Louisiana post-retirement, the two-time NBA MVP continues to support his former team by watching and attending Jazz games.

A day before Game 1 of the Jazz/Clippers series-opener, Malone posed in front of his statue outside of Vivint Arena.
In a social media video post, Malone stood next to the statue, removed his sunglasses, and said “Giddy up, cowboy, you know the rest.”
Malone is No. 2 on the NBA’s all-time scorer list and one of the greatest players in league history.
Utah’s game against Los Angeles is broadcast on TNT and 97.5 FM.
