SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell threw a pair of amazing passes during Game 5 of Utah’s first round postseason series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies at Vivint Arena on Wednesday, June 2.
Mitchell did his best John Stockton impression and threw a couple of spectacular passes for assists during the third quarter of the contest.
Pass No. 1
The first amazing assist by Mitchell came on a quarterback throw/baseball pitch style toss to Royce O’Neale.
With 8:54 remaining in the quarter, Mitchell rocketed a pass ahead of the defense and into the frontcourt for O’Neale, who took the ball and slammed it.
