Pair Of Real Salt Lake Players Called Into National Team Duty Ahead Of World Cup Qualifiers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Noah Powder and Ashtone Morgan have been called into the Trinidad & Tobago and Canadian national teams, respectively, ahead of World Cup Qualifiers.
Powder, 22, will prepare for fixtures against the Bahamas on June 5 at 3:00 p.m. MT and Saint Kitts and Nevis on June 8 and 3:00 p.m. MT. While Morgan, 30, will hope to represent Canada against Aruba on June 5 and Suriname on June 8.

Powder is looking to add to his only international cap that came against the USMNT on January 31 this year. While Morgan is looking to add to his 18 caps with his most recent exposure coming on January 15th against Iceland.
“I’m really excited to receive another call-up from my country,” Powder said. “It is always an honor to be back in the red, black and white. I’m really excited to join the group and help in any way possible to help us qualify for the World Cup.”

Both players are expected to be available for selection when RSL returns to the pitch on June 18th against Vancouver.
