SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has used his aggressive energy in the third quarter in Game 4 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
With 7:15 left in the third quarter, Grizzlies guard Ja Morant tried to block a layup by Rudy Gobert but was called for a foul. The official was a little delayed on the call so Gobert was upset and hit the stanchion, forcing the referee to call a technical foul.
Just 41 seconds earlier, Jazz head coach Quin Snyder was called for a technical foul. After the T from Gobert, the Frenchman went off for five points but was already at 9 points in the quarter with under five to play in the third.

For the game, Gobert was up to 12 points, 5 rebounds and one block in 18 minutes played. Utah went on a 16-6 run in the third quarter, which was led by Donovan Mitchell but Gobert had a big part of it as well.
This could be a game where the Jazz could take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a win in Game 4. Either way, Game 5 will be on Wednesday at Vivint Arena. Tip-off and broadcast information is to be determined.
