Donovan Mitchell Snatches Rebound, Hits Big Three Late In First Half

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell snatched an offensive rebound in traffic and followed that up with a three-pointer in Game 4.
With 1:10 left in the second quarter, Jazz forward Royce O’Neale missed a three-pointer as Donovan Mitchell jumped high and snatched the rebound over Grayson Allen. After he collected the rebound, Mitchell ran out to the three-point line and knocked down a triple to give the Jazz a 59-50 lead with 1:01 remaining until halftime.
Utah outscored Memphis 34-31 in the first quarter and 25-23 in the second to take a 59-54 halftime lead.

Mitchell led the Jazz with 14 points in the first half, along with four assists on 5-of-12 shooting from the field and 2-for-5 from beyond the arc in 17 minutes played. Jordan Clarkson added 12 points and 5 rebounds.
For Memphis, Jaren Jackson Jr. had 12 points. Dillon Brooks chipped in 10 points.
This could be a game where the Jazz could take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a win in Game 4. Either way, Game 5 will be on Wednesday at Vivint Arena. Tip-off and broadcast information is to be determined.
