SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes and current Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer participated in a pay-per-view wrestling event.
Yep, you read that read, a PPV wrestling brawl.
On Sunday, May 30, the rookie NFL coach and Jaguars assistant head coach Charlie Strong assisted in All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event.
The fight took place at an amphitheater near the home of the Jaguars, TIAA Bank Field.
The coaches participated in a skit that took play during a match between MJF of The Pinnacle and Chris Jericho of The Inner Circle.

The wrestlers took the match into the Jaguars’ stadium and into an office where Meyer and Strong were studying film.
Following the wresters entrance, Strong supplied the fight with a couple of footballs. Meyer joined in and gave Jericho his laptop as ammunition.
The former Utah coach posted about the experience on social media.
“The more you can do — I think that is the saying us coaches use. We had a good laugh watching this scene play back. #StadiumStampede,” Meyer tweeted.
