Donovan Mitchell Closes Out Game 3 Of Jazz/Grizzlies With Impressive Fourth Quarter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell took over the final minutes of Game 3 and ensured a Utah Jazz win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies hosted the Jazz for Game 3 of the first round series on Saturday, May 29.
Mitchell propelled Utah to a 121-111 victory.
Despite it being only his second game back from an ankle sprain the caused him to miss more than a month, the fourth-year All-Star made sure the Jazz took a 2-1 series lead.
During the final 12 minutes of action, Mitchell carried the Jazz and scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.

From the 4:04 mark until 1:27 left in regulation, Utah went on a 12-0 run to close out the game. Mitchell scored 10 of the 12 points.

After missing Game 1 of the series, a game in which Utah lost, Mitchell led the Jazz to a Game 2 win with 25 points.
He followed up that performance with a game-high 29 points on 9-23 shooting in Game 3.
After scoring 20 points in the 2nd half tonight, Donovan Mitchell is averaging 27.3 PPG through 25 career playoff games.

In addition to his scoring, Mitchell had two rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 30 minutes on the hardwood.
With the win, the Jazz now own a 2-1 series lead.

Game 4 of the first round series will take place on Monday, May 31. The Grizzlies will host the contest at FedEx Forum.
Utah and Memphis will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on TNT, AT&T SportsNet, and 97.5 FM.
