SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Memphis Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks and Jazz guard Mike Conley exchanged jabs in the second quarter of Game 3 on Saturday.
Dillon Brooks made a layup before Mike Conley hit a three-pointer. Conley was talking to Brooks as they ran down the floor following the three-pointer. When Conley went to guard Brooks in the corner, the former Oregon guard threw a punch to the side of Conley.
The Jazz guard was not phased by the punch and continued to play. It looked as though the officials did not see the hit by Brooks but the league can review the play after the game and potentially issue a fine.
I love how Mike Conley buries this three coming off a screen and then goes right back at Dillon Brooks all the way down the court to let him know. 🤣#TakeNote #NBAPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/KZy8nupHL2

It’s not known what Brooks is doing because he had another questionable move during Game 1 of the series as he went up to Conley and headbutted him.

Brooks and Conley played together for the first two years of Brooks’ career before Conley was traded to the Jazz two years ago. The former Oregon Duck does not have a ton of fans in Salt Lake City after this series has taken place but he didn’t have very many fans at the college level when he had a ridiculous flop against the Runnin’ Utes during his college days in January of 2017.
