10 Utah Players Named To Preseason All-Pac-12 Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – 10 Utah football players were named to the Athlon Sports preseason All-Pac-12 team in 11 different positions.

Athlon Sports released their All-Pac-12 teams on Monday and Utah was well represented on the list with 11 selections.

10 players made the All-Pac-12 team but one player was listed at two different positions. Oregon had the most selections with 14, USC and Washington finished second with 13, followed by Arizona State and UCLA with 12.

Athlon put out four All-Pac-12 teams. Offensive lineman Nick Ford, defensive end Mika Tafua, linebacker Devin Lloyd, kicker Jadon Redding and Britain Covey as a punt returner were named to the All-Pac-12 first team.

Covey made the second team as a wide receiver, as well as tight end Brant Kuithe and cornerback Clark Phillips III. Offensive lineman Sataoa Laumea received third team recognition. Athlon put quarterback Charlie Brewer and cornerback JaTravis Broughton on the All-Pac-12 fourth team.
