David Ochoa Named To Final USMNT Nations League Roster

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake goalkeeper David Ochoa has been named by Gregg Berhalter to the final USMNT 23-man Nations League Final Four roster.
Ochoa, 20, is the youngest goalkeeper on the roster. Manchester City goalkeeper Zack Steffan and Club Brugge keeper Ethan Horvath are the only other two keepers on the roster.
“We are excited to gather this group together as we compete to win the Nations League trophy,” USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said. “It’s been a great year for our player pool and the unprecedented successes of winning multiple league and cup championships. Our focus now becomes continuing this success with the National Team.”
Other big-name additions include Christian Pulisic, Weston KcKennie, Sergino Dest, Tim Weah, and Gio Reyna.
USMNT is seeking to capture the inaugural tournament title.

The Nations League Final Four will take place in Denver, Colorado with the US slated to play Honduras in the first semifinal on June 3 at 5:30 p.m. If the hosts can win, they will play the winner of Costa Rica and Mexico which will kick off immediately following the USA and Honduras fixture.
Then, on June 9, USMNT and Costa Rica will make the venture across the Wasatch Mountains to Rio Tinto Stadium where they will see one and another in a friendly. Kickoff is expected for 5 p.m. and RSL season ticket holders have presale ticket access before the general public gains access on Tuesday, May 24.
In preparation for the Nations League Final Four, the USMNT will play a friendly against Switzerland on May 29 at Kybun Park in St. Gallen, Switzerland. David Ochoa is also a member of the roster that will compete against Switzerland.
