SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones revealed on national television that he wants to leave the organization.
Julio Jones told Undisputed host Shannon Sharpe that he wants to leave the Falcons in a phone call while live on the show.
Sharpe called Jones on his cell phone and had it on speaker phone. Jones picked up and started talking to Sharpe when the former NFL tight end asked Jones if he wanted to play for the Dallas Cowboys (Skip Bayless’ favorite team) or stay in Atlanta.
“Nah man I am outta there,” Jones said about the Falcons. “I just want to win.”

Sharpe told Jones that if he wanted to win that he shouldn’t go to Dallas and Jones knew that. It’s unknown if Jones knew he was talking to Sharpe while on live television because it was never mentioned in the conversation.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide star was taken in the first round with the sixth overall pick by the Falcons in the 2011 NFL Draft. In 10 seasons, Jones has racked up 12,896 yards and 60 touchdowns in 135 games played. Jones is a seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time first team All-Pro.
