SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Salt Lake Bees announced that Smith’s Ballpark will be able to host a full capacity crowd beginning on Thursday, May 27.

The Minor League Baseball club released the information on Wednesday, May 19.

Smith’s Ballpark has a capacity of 14,511.

Salt Lake started the season with a limited capacity of approximately 3,200 fans. The limit was set by Major League Baseball and local health and government officials.

Smith’s Ballpark will move to full capacity as the Bees open a six-game homestand against the Round Rock Express.

The Bees currently own a 5-7 record.

In addition to increased sanitizing efforts, the Bees have a completely mobile ticketing experience with scanners at each entrance of the ballpark. Once inside, all concessions and merchandise must be purchased by debit, credit or mobile payments for a cashless experience.
