BYU/Arizona Game In Las Vegas Proving To Be Hot Ticket
PROVO, Utah – Tickets for the BYU/Arizona game in Las Vegas to open the 2021 season are selling fast.
According to Las Vegas sports anchor Chris Maathius, the September 4th season opener at Allegiant Stadium has already sold 41,000 tickets.

The seating capacity for the $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium, home to the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, is 65,000. There are still four months until kickoff between the two teams, so there’s a great chance this game could end up being a sellout.
BYU fans excited for the trip to Vegas
Tickets began going on sale last month. In less than three hours, BYU sold their entire allotment of 12,000 tickets from the school’s ticket office. A majority of those tickets were purchased early by Cougar Club members.
Another element to ticket sales for the event has been Personal Seat License holders at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders sold PSLs for 55,000 of the 65,000 seats in the stadium. Each one of the PSL owners gets a private link to purchase tickets. If they waive the option to buy their tickets, those become available to the open market on TicketMaster.
This will be one of the first football games played in front of fans at Allegiant Stadium. UNLV will hold the first regular-season football game in the facility two days before they host Eastern Washington.
Prices for BYU/Arizona game are far cheaper than Raiders tickets
Prices for BYU/Arizona are far lower than the cost for games to see the Raiders in their new home digs. Tickets to see the Raiders play in their home opener against the Baltimore Ravens are starting at $800 for the cheapest ticket. The Vegas Kickoff Classic between BYU/Arizona starts at $47.25.
For Vegas locals who want to get the experience of Allegiant Stadium and see a good football game in the process, BYU-Arizona will capture some interest beyond just BYU and Arizona fans.
This will be the 25th meeting all-time between BYU and Arizona. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 11-12-1. BYU has won the last two and three of the last five meetings since 2006.
