Utah Football Announces Series With Wisconsin

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah football announced a home-and-home football series with the Wisconsin Badgers.
The first game will be played in Madison, Wisconsin on September 16, 2028. The second will be played in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 10, 2033.

Utah v. Wisconsin History
The Utes and the Badgers have met three previous times. Wisconsin holds a 2-1 series lead over Utah.
The last game between the two was the 1996 Copper Bowl, where Utah lost 29-21. Both of the other games were played in Wisconsin, making the 2033 game the Badgers’ first time in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Utah’s Non-Conference Scheduling
The Utes’ 2028 non-conference schedule is coming together with games against BYU, Dixie State and now Wisconsin.
Lately, the Utes have been scheduling some notable future non-conference opponents like Florida, Arkansas and now Wisconsin.
