Zac Dawe career snapshot
Dawe played in 38 games during his BYU career recording 81 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries, and three pass breakups.
Coming out of high school, Dawe signed with BYU to play along the offensive line. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Houston where he then returned in 2016. Dawe battled injuries and had left the team and lost his scholarship for a brief period. While away from the team he was a security guard at Nu Skin in Provo.
Dawe transformed his body to play at defensive end where he was a significant contributor for BYU the last two seasons.
During BYU’s 11-1 2020 season, Dawe had a career-high 8 tackles in a comeback road victory over the Houston Cougars.
