All games in this year’s unprecedented spring tournament are taking place in Cary, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas. BYU entered the tournament with an 11-3-1 record and a second-place finish in the West Coast Conference.
BYU’s three losses this season were against teams that were in this year’s tournament (UCLA, USC, Santa Clara).
The Cougars are led by a trio of stars in senior and NWSL Draft pick Mikayla Colohan, senior Cameron Tucker, and sophomore Rachel McCarthy. All three players were named to the WCC First Team.
It’s been a long two weeks since BYU was last in action when they defeated Portland in the home finale at South Field, 4-0.
