Jazz Hit Kings With Massive Run To Start Second Quarter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Jazz blasted the Sacramento Kings with a big run to start the second quarter of action in Utah’s road game in Sactown.
The Kings hosted the Jazz at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday, April 28.
During the first 5:22 of the second quarter, Utah hit Sacramento with a massive run.
Kings coach Luke Walton was forced to call a timeout after the Jazz began the quarter on a 23-2 run.

Before the timeout, the run was capped by a Jordan Clarkson three-pointer.
The big run stretched Utah’s lead to 53-29 with 6:38 left until halftime.
The Jazz run was fueled by hot shooting and strong defense. Up to that point in the contest, Utah was shooting 59.4 percent from the field, including 42.9 percent from downtown.

The Jazz limited the Kings to 33.3 percent shooting overall and 22.2 percent from three.
During the final 6:38 of the second quarter, the Jazz extended their lead to 76-44 behind a 46-point quarter.
The Jazz had four players score in double figures during the first half.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Jazz with 19 points.
Georges Niang poured in 16 points and Jordan Clarkson added 15 points off the bench.
Joe Ingles had 10 points.

The Kings were led by Buddy Hield’s 12 points.
