HURRICANE, Utah – Tony Finau and Cameron Champ will enter the final round at the Zurich Classic one shot behind the leaders after posting another impressive third-round score of five-under-par.
Team Send It
Finau and Champ, otherwise known as Team Send It, began the day tied for the lead at 13-under-par.
The format returned to a four-ball, or best-ball, meaning both players play their own ball and the player with the lowest score counts towards the overall team score.
Finau and Champ had worked as a terrific tandem up until Saturday. Then, cracks began to appear in the duo and the consistency began to dwindle.
However, they both scratched and clawed their way to a five-under-par round and are well in contention with one round to play.
Finau’s driving was erratic on Saturday, fortunately, it was his short game that prevailed.
On the par 4 1st hole, Finau chipped in from off the green to sink the team’s first birdie of the day, a great start to the day and an early statement to the rest of the field was made.

Then, on the par 5 2nd hole, Finau chipped out of the greenside bunker to 23 inches and made birdie for two on the trot.
Finally, on the 18th, Finau tapped in for birdie after reaching the green in two.
Finau played the par 5’s at one-under-par.
Tomorrow, Team Send It will compete for 400 FedEx Cup points and the Zurich Classic and will play alongside Bubba Watson and Scottie Scheffler.
Tee times for Sunday’s round are yet to be released.
