Former Utah State Forward Alphonso Anderson Commits To Pacific Tigers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State forward Alphonso Anderson announced his commitment to the University of the Pacific men’s basketball program.
Anderson shared the news via social media on Friday, April 23.
The forward played the past two seasons with the Aggies.
“Last Dance,” Anderson posted on Instagram alongside of graphic of him wearing the Tigers’ uniform.

Anderson joined Marco Anthony and Rollie Worster as players to transfer from Utah State since Craig Smith left Logan for the University of Utah.
Anthony and Worster transferred to Utah to continue playing under Smith.

Last season, Anderson was honored at the Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year.

He averaged 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per contest in 2020-21.
Anderson played in 63 games for the Aggies, including eight starts.
