The Missoula, Montana native was the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state twice and led Hellgate High School to a share of the Montana state AA title as a senior. He averaged 20.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game that season.
Worster was the fourth leading scorer for the Aggies in his first season in Logan, averaging 9.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He started in 25 of his 26 games played while shooting 40 percent from the field, 28 percent from the three-point line and 80 percent at the free throw line.
Worster is the third player to transfer to Utah and is the first Aggie to join Craig Smith in Salt Lake City. He joins Gabe Madsen (Cincinnati) and David Jenkins (UNLV) that have gone to Utah from the portal.
Utah State recently hired Ryan Odom from UMBC to replace Smith as the men’s basketball head coach.
