Neemias Queta, Autumn DeHarde Named Utah State Athletes of the Year

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State announced Neemias Queta and Autumn DeHarde as the Aggies’ male and female athletes of the year.
The duo were honored at the annual Robins Awards on Saturday, April 10.
Queta was a member of USU’s men’s basketball program and DeHarde was on Utah State’s gymnastics team.

This season, Queta led the nation with 97 blocked shots.
The Utah State standout was one of two players since 1992-93 to finish a season averaging more than 14.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest.
He helped the Aggies reached the Mountain West Conference Tournament title game and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
Queta and the Aggies finished the 2020-21 season with a 20-9 record.

Autumn DeHarde
DeHarde received the Female Athlete of the Year award for the second consecutive season.
She finished her college career as the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Beam Specialist of the Year for the second straight year.

DeHarde appeared in three NCAA Regional Championship and is Utah State’s record holder with 16 career beam titles.
