Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Erupts For Big Quarter Against Kings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell exploded for a big third quarter during Utah’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Jazz hosted the Kings at Vivint Arena on Saturday, April 10.
After trailing Sacramento at halftime, Mitchell helped Utah regain the lead with a great offensive performance over the 12 minutes following the break.
During the third quarter, Mitchell scored 16 of his 28 points and helped the Jazz outscore the Kings by 12 points in the quarter.

Mitchell scored the 16 points on 50 percent shooting, including 3-6 from beyond the arc.
In addition to his scoring, Mitchell dished out a pair of assists.
The fourth-year guard was plus-nine during his time on the hardwood in the third quarter.

After the quarter, the Jazz owned a 95-89 advantage.
Mitchell led Utah with 28 points on 8-24 field goals, including 3-11 from three. He was 9-11 on free throws.
For the game, Mitchell had one rebound, two assists, and a block.
