Donovan Mitchell Spikes Shot For Block During Kings/Jazz Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell pulled out a volleyball move for a blocked shot during Utah’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Jazz hosted the Kings at Vivint Arena on Saturday, April 10.
With 1:11 remaining in the second quarter, Kings guard Tyrese Haliburton drove toward the hoop when a trailing Mitchell prevented two points for Sacramento.
Mitchell ran behind Haliburton before spring up and spiking the point guard’s shot down to the court and out of bounds.

At halftime, the Kings owned a 65-59 lead.
Mitchell went to the locker room at the break with 12 points on 3-14 shooting, including 0-5 on three-pointers. He shot 6-8 from the free throw stripe.
The fourth-year guard added one rebound and one block in 17 minutes of action.

Mike Conley also had 12 points for the Jazz.
Richaun Holmes led the Kings with 21 points in the half.
