Jazzmen Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert Run Perfect Pick-And-Roll Against Suns
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz players Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert ran a perfect pick-and-roll and resulted in a three-point play during Utah’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns hosted the Jazz at Phoenix Suns Arena on Wednesday, April 7.
With 1:59 left in the third quarter, Gobert set a screen for Conley near the three-point line. Following the pick, Gobert rolled to the hoop and Conley fed the driving big man.
Gobert rose up and threw down a two-handed slam dunk while getting fouled by Phoenix’s Dario Saric.
Gobert completed the three-point play after sinking a shot at the charity stripe.
The dunk and foul shot cut the Suns’ lead to 72-71.
After the play, Gobert had 13 points on 6-6 field goals. He also had 12 rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 21 minutes on the court.
Despite shooting 43.8 percent overall and only 25.0 percent from downtown, the Jazz led 78-77 at the end of the third quarter.
Utah’s game against Phoenix is broadcast on ESPN, AT&T SportsNet, and 97.5 FM.
