Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Completes Driving Layup While Getting Fouled By Suns

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell completed a nice-looking driving layup while getting fouled during Utah’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns hosted the Jazz at Phoenix Suns Arena on Wednesday, April 7.
With 11:18 left in the third quarter, Mitchell drove the open court before flying towards the hoop for an aggressive layup attempt.
While floating towards the basket, the fourth-year guard made the field goal despite getting fouled Mikal Bridges.

Mitchell went to the free throw line and buried the foul shot to complete the three-point play.
The layup and free throw cut Phoenix’s lead to 51-45.
It also 7-0 run by Mitchell that spanned halftime from the end of the second quarter into the third quarter.
After the play, Mitchell had 18 points on 7-15 shooting.
He shot 1-3 on three-pointers and 3-3 on free throws.
Mitchell also had four rebounds and one assist during the first 25 minutes of game time.
