SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The high school softball season is in full swing and the Game Night Live Rewind guys are getting you caught up.
In 6A, the guys pointed out that Clearfield is off to a hot start to the season at 6-1 overall and 3-0 in region play. One of the top teams in the entire state of Utah is the Bingham Miners, who are 8-0 on the season. In those eight games, they have scored 10 runs or more in four contests. They even scored 20 runs in their win over Granger on April 7.
In 5A, it’s all about Spanish Fork, who holds a perfect 12-0 record and nine games with 10 or more runs, including 28 runs against Provo. They have 147 runs in 12 games played this season. Mountain Ridge is another team to keep an eye on as Taegan Smith has scored five home runs so far this season. The Sentinels are9-0 with all nine games with 10 or more runs. They have held all of the opponents to single digits.
