Jazz Start Game Against Suns With Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert Alley-Oop Dunk

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – NBA All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert synced for an alley-oop slam dunk on Utah’s first possession against the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns hosted the Jazz at Phoenix Suns Arena on Wednesday, April 7.
28 seconds into the game, Mitchell connected with Gobert for a pretty alley-oop connection.
Mitchell drove the lane and floated a pass over two Phoenix defender. Gobert reached out and collected the ball with his right hand before throwing it through the cylinder for the first two points of the contest.

Gobert’s dunk gave the Jazz an early 2-0 lead with 11:32 remaining in the opening quarter.
This season, Gobert is averaging 14.6 points on 65.6 percent shooting.
Mitchell scores 25.4 points per contest on 43.5 percent from the field. He is also dishes out 5.4 assists each contest.

The Jazz entered the matchup with an NBA-best 38-12 record. The Suns own the second-best record in the Western Conference after starting the season 35-14.
