Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Rejects Pair Of Magic Shots On One Possession

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert blocked multiple shots during one possession during Utah’s game against the Orlando Magic.
The Jazz hosted the Magic at Vivint Arena on Saturday, April 3.
With 8:26 left in the quarter, Gobert swatted a field goal attempt by James Ennis III.
Six seconds later, the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year rejected Chuma Okeke’s attempted layup.

At the end of the third quarter, the Jazz owned a 107-72 lead.
Gobert had 11 points on 4-6 field goals.
He also added six rebounds, one assist, and four blocks.

Gobert posted a plus-30 rating during his first 20 minutes on the floor.
This season, the Jazzman is averaging 2.9 blocks per contest.
The mark ranks No. 2 in the NBA. Only Indiana’s Myles Turner rejects most shots per contest at 3.5 blocks a game.
