“The Club is delighted to welcome Ibrahim to Salt Lake City and the Real Monarchs,” RSL Assistant General Manager Tony Beltran said. “Ibrahim is an exciting young attacking player with experience at the Club and International level. We look forward to seeing his continued growth within our organization.”
Bance, 20, has been on loan from Mimosas before. In 2019, he joined Swedish club Helsingborgs IF on loan with an option to buy. However, after just six appearances for Helsingborgs IF he returned to Mimosas after Helsingborgs IF declined the option to purchase the midfielder.
Furthermore, Bance has represented his country Burkina Faso at the under-20 level and the senior level. Combined, Bance has 5 international caps.
The Monarchs are currently in preseason ahead of the 2021 season, which opens on Friday, May 14, against LA Galaxy II at Zions Bank Stadium.
