SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Zach Wilson impressed the projected No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence with a throw during BYU’s 2021 Pro Day.
Wilson threw during BYU’s 2021 Pro Day on Friday, March 26.
During his throwing session, Wilson tossed an impressive deep ball 60 yards down the field.
The throw drew a reaction from those in attendance as well as on social media, including Lawrence.

Many NFL experts predict that Lawrence will be take ahead of Wilson and land with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have the No. 1 overall pick.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah on Zach Wilson’s “ridiculous” throw
Following BYU’s Pro Day, I asked former NFL scout and current NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah to detail Wilson’s toss.
“He threw, I want to say a deep post kind of back over to the right where all of your body and momentum is floating and drifting left,” Jeremiah said. “For him to be able to get enough power on the ball, to get it over the top, and going back towards the right, deep down the field, and placed it beautifully, it’s just incredibly hard.”
After @BYUfootball’s Pro Day, I asked @MoveTheSticks to breakdown Zach Wilson’s “ridiculous” throw that’s all over social media. 💪

“When you go left and you throw it all the way back to the right as a right-handed quarterback, that’s a whole other level of difficulty,” Jeremiah continued. “To have that type of horsepower and athleticism to be able to pull that off, it’s pretty unique.”
