Former Utah State DB Nevin Lawson Re-Signs With Raiders

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Las Vegas Raiders announced that they’ve signed former Utah State defensive back Nevin Lawson to a new deal.
News of Lawson’s new contract surfaced on Saturday, March 20.
Lawson officially re-signed on March 23.
The former USU standout will reportedly return to Las Vegas on a one-year deal.

About Nevin Lawson
After playing for the Aggies of Logan from 2010-13, Lawson was selected by the Detroit Lions during the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
After five seasons with the Lions, Lawson joined the Raiders on a one-year deal in 2019. Prior to last season, the former USU cornerback remained with Las Vegas on another year-long contract.

In 2020, Lawson recorded 61 total tackles, 47 solo tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and four pass breakups in 14 games.
